These two dwellings are nestled in the middle of nature, each benefiting from a large garden and a beautiful terrace open to nature. They are located a few meters from our house to welcome you easily, but also 5 min walk from the Lake Barbençon (and its historical center) and 10 min drive from the Barrages de l'Eau d'Heure to enjoy the many tourist activities (water sports, golf, cycling, ...).

During the summer of 2019, we have decided to start maintenance and renovation work on the family estate we have inherited in order to preserve it as well as possible, while offering two new holiday home opportunities to discover our beautiful region.

The wooden CHALET, entirely renovated in a contemporary and cosy style.

Surface of the rented part: 56m2 + a terrace.

Capacity: 4 people.

The MAISON D'ARCHITECTE designed by Olivier RUSSE for his parents 20 years ago, remains an atypical dwelling with ultra-contemporary architecture realized according to industrial pre-fabrication methods. It has been the subject, in particular, of a publication in the architecture journal A+. A large living space combining the living room and dining room with an open kitchen and the bedroom area separated from the living room by a sliding storage system. The living rooms are extended by a terrace extending along the entire length of the southern facade of the house and overlooking a pleasant garden offering a peaceful view. In the decoration of the house, objects "designed" by architects, paintings, sculptures and both older objects - family and travel souvenirs - cohabit with each other.

Surface area of the rented part: 90m2 + a very large terrace.

The chalet is exactly what you see in the pictures, stylish, cozy, warm, private (close to the owner's home but really private and quiet, the feeling is like being in the forest while you are in the middle of a village!) It is also the perfect place to start exploring the region! And also the perfect place to come back to after a day of hike, to relax on the couch and make some nice food. Fabienne was really friendly and nice, she also gave us some suggestions for hikes and sightseeing. On top of this we're lucky to get some snow and wake up to a winter wonderland!!

The accomodation was really clean and everything was present. Also the welcome of Fabienne was really nice and warm. We were even welcomed with a bottle of cava, some chips, delicious jam and apple juice which were self made. So I would really recommend this place. The only thing you have to take in mind is that there is no dishwasher so it's old school doing the dishes by hand but this can also be fun 🙂
